Just some thoughts I wanted to get out there. Not trying to start a fight.

I really don’t get how people can compare Santana’s situation to Dave’s. And I’m not trying to be an ass about this, I’m really not. I just don’t understand how they can look at what Santana went through after she was outed to what Dave went through after he was outed. 

Yes, what Finn did was a douchebag move but he was made, she had been doing her usual “I’m a bitch” act and he reacted like a teenager would. But, like he said, everyone practically knew and really the only crap they showed her getting at school was that one guy offering to fix her. Her grandmother disowned her but outside of that? There wasn’t much else. 

Dave got the serious bullying, the serious ignorant lack of acceptance from his peers and it destroyed everything he had built around himself to keep him going. His mother told him he had a disease, his classmates at the school he had settled into turned on him and treated him like a piece of trash—he didn’t have a group like New Directions to fall back on. He didn’t have a Brittany. 

I just really don’t see the comparison. :\
